Table Dimensions: 6.5 ft wide x 5 ft deep

The Basics...
A game made popular with variations played in English Pubs and American Dockyards, the now standard rules are as follows. Played with three standard dice that are kept in a device shaped somewhat like an hourglass that resembles a wire-frame bird cage (about 18-inches high) and that pivots about its centre. The dealer rotates the cage end over end, with the dice landing on the bottom. The base of each side is large enough for each of the three, six-sided dice to lay flat and be totalled up. Bets are made before the spin of the cage, and winning bets paid after the dice "total."
Available Bets
You will have a choice of five different types of bets at the chuck-a-luck table. Place your chips on whichever wagers you would like to for the next total. If you win you are paid out accordingly. if you lose, your chips are taken by the dealer.
-
Numbers Bet
You may bet on a single number (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and are paid even-money for each die that comes up on the number you chose. If you bet on number "3" and one die has a 3, you are paid 1 to 1. If two dice come up with a "3", you are paid 2 to 1. If all three dice come up with a "3" you are paid 3 to 1.
-
Field Bet
A wager on the "field" is a bet that the total of all three dice will be between 5 and 8 or 13 and 16. This bet pays even money, or 1 to 1. If the total of the dice is 3,4,9,10,11,12,17, or 18, you lose.
-
High Bet (Over 11)
A wager on "high" is a bet that the total of the three dice will be over 11. This bet pays even money, or 1 to 1. If the total of the dice is less than 12, you lose.
-
Low Bet (Under 10)
A wager on "low" is a bet that the total of the three dice will be under 10. This bet pays even money, or 1 to 1. If the total of the dice is over 9, you lose.
-
Any Triple
A wager on "any triple" is a bet that all three dice will be the same. This bet pays 30 to 1. Big winnings, but small odds!
Demonstrations
Like all of our Casino Games, here at Chicago Casino Nights we put the guests at ease by demonstrating and explaining all of the rules to the players. This is particularly done on the Chuck-a-Luck table because of the unfamiliarity of the game. Croupiers will often allow guests to spin the Birdcage to encourage participation.
Variety
A great addition to any Casino Event, offering something a bit different to the standard Blackjack and Roulette Tables. Have your guests leave your event remembering a new Casino Game they can tell all their friends about. Chuck-a-Luck tables are the same size as Blackjack Tables and fully portable.
